Construction Varieties

The construction of an FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) plays a critical role in its performance, stability, and suitability for specific materials and handling conditions. At Jet Tech Pvt. Ltd., we offer multiple FIBC construction types to ensure optimal strength, shape retention, and efficiency across storage, transportation, and stacking requirements.

Each construction style is engineered to meet different operational needs, material characteristics, and logistical challenges.

Circular (Tubular)

Circular FIBC bags are manufactured from tubular woven fabric, resulting in a seamless body with only the top and bottom panels stitched into place. The absence of vertical side seams reduces potential leakage points and enhances overall durability.

These bags are particularly suitable for fine, powdery, or hygroscopic materials, where moisture resistance and containment are critical. Circular bags offer high tensile strength and are ideal for applications requiring minimal fabric interruption.

U Panel

U-Panel FIBC bags are constructed using a single continuous piece of fabric that forms two opposite sides and the base of the bag, creating a distinctive “U” shape. The remaining two side panels and top panel are sewn into this structure.

This design offers an excellent balance of strength, cost efficiency, and stackability. U-Panel bags are widely used across industries due to their reliable load distribution and consistent shape when filled, making them a versatile and economical solution for bulk packaging.

4 Panel

Four-panel FIBC bags are constructed by stitching together four separate fabric panels to form the body of the bag, with additional top and bottom panels sewn in place. This structured design allows the bag to retain a more uniform, box-like shape when filled.

Due to their excellent shape retention, four-panel bags are especially well suited for stacking and space-efficient storage.

They are commonly used for transporting construction materials, agricultural products, minerals, and other bulk goods where stability during handling and storage is essential.

Baffle Bag

Baffle FIBC bags are designed to maximize stability and loading efficiency by maintaining their shape within pallet dimensions even when fully filled. Internal fabric baffles are integrated into all four corners of the bag to prevent bulging and deformation.

Precision-cut openings within the baffles allow material to flow evenly throughout the bag, ensuring uniform filling.

This construction also makes the bag sift-proof, enabling safe storage and transport of very fine powders without leakage, even when stacked or moved over long distances.

In addition to these standard constructions, we offer C-Panel, Palletless, and fully customised FIBC designs, engineered to suit specialised materials, filling methods, and handling systems.
