Filling & Discharge

FIBCs are available with a wide range of filling and discharge configurations, allowing the bag design to be tailored precisely to your material characteristics, handling method, and operational requirements. Depending on your loading and unloading process, different top and bottom options can be selected to ensure efficiency, safety, and material control.

Filling Options

Open Top

An open-top FIBC has no closure at the top, enabling fast and simple filling where dust control or sealing is not a primary concern.

Spout Top

A cylindrical spout fitted at the top of the bag allows controlled and dust-free filling, making it ideal for pneumatic or gravity loading systems.

Flap Top

A flap top features a fabric cover sewn over the opening, protecting the contents from contamination once filling is complete while still allowing easy access during loading.

Skirt Top

The skirt top provides a loose fabric extension that can be tied or secured during filling, offering flexibility for high-volume or less controlled loading environments.

Discharge Options

Spout Bottom

Spout bottom FIBCs allow controlled and efficient discharge of material. These spouts can be supplied with star protection, pajama protection, or without protection, depending on the level of flow control and spout security required during unloading.

Plain Bottom

A plain bottom FIBC has no discharge opening and is typically emptied by cutting the base, making it suitable for single-use or applications where rapid unloading is preferred.

In addition to these standard filling and discharge options, Jet Tech FIBCs can be customised to meet specific material characteristics, handling processes, and operational requirements. Our team works closely with customers to ensure the right combination of efficiency, safety, and performance for every application.
